On my way to Ouagadougou tomorrow !

Sorry, the translation of this page is not available.

I’m joining the Oxfam Quebec team as an International Volunteer for an interesting project and will leave tomorrow night for Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso,West Africa.

I will be working for a week with Oxfam Québec’s representatives and local partners from West Africa, South East Asia and the Middle East, i.e. Niger, Benin, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, Vietnam, Cambodia and Palestine. I will be facilitating a workshop on change theories and change management.

The workshop will enable participants to get aligned around a common approach to change and to establish their preferred strategies and levers to affect the desired changes. We will also analyze power relations in their own environment and review processes to manage these changes.

I’m sure it will be an enriching experience and I will be happy to share it with you in this blog. I will also use this opportunity to introduce you to the women and men working in these countries, the organizations they lead and their mission as well as the actions that Oxfam Québec supports in partnership with them.

I hope you will appreciate this blog and that it will help you to better understand the actions and impact of Oxfam Québec around the world. I will also be happy to hear your thoughts in the comments section at the bottom.

Have a good read!

P.S. A heartfelt thank you to Mireille Letellier, translator, who has generously offered her services for this trip's blogs to enable more people to have access to it!
