Did you know that the G8 and G20 leaders will be meeting in Canada in June? Their decisions will affect us all, and especially the people of the South.

In recent years our leaders have made many promises to reduce poverty and fight climate change: achieve the Millennium Development Goals, increase international aid, and provide adequate financing to help developing countries respond to changes in their environment.

Yet today, none of those promises has been kept.

In 2010, let's take our place at the table. Let's tell our leaders that it's time to move from words to action. Let's insist that they keep their promises.
