Chris Martin meeting farmers in Ghana to see how unfair trade rules affect those in developing countries

Since 2002 Coldplay have been global ambassadors for the Make Trade Fair campaign and one of Oxfam's biggest supporters.

They have helped Oxfam to campaign at their concerts all over the world and continued to support  the campaign as as they rose to worldwide fame.

Chris Martin and other members of the band have traveled to Mexico, Ghana, and Haiti to meet farmers and see how unfair trade rules affect those in developing countries. The band also traveled to Cancun, Mexico to lobby world leaders at the 2003 World Trade Organization Summit.

An official survey showed that 84% of 18-24 year old British people know about Oxfam's campaigning work because of Coldplay. Oxfam would like to give a huge thank you to the band for the consistently amazing support they have given to Oxfam's work over the years.
