I care about everyone’s right to education, health and water. The world needs six million more trained teachers and health care professionals. The world needs accessible clean water.

I call on world governments to fulfill their promise to achieve the Millennium Development Goals by 2015, by ensuring quality public services for all.

To make this possible, I ask Northern governments to:

• increase international aid to 0.7% of their national income;
• ensure that aid supports the development of public services in education, health and water;
• stop supporting the privatization of basic social services;
• cancel poor countries’ debts.
