Oxfam-Québec in Paraguay
Summary
CLUB 2/3 has been working in Paraguay since April 2001.
Since then,it has been supporting two Paraguayan partners who work mainly with youth.
Through its projects, CLUB 2/3 has funded initiatives to encourage and promote the participation of Paraguayan youth in the world of new information technology with the goal of developing their communication skills.
CLUB 2/3’s objective was also to strengthen youth organizational capacities to encourage them to participate in the local development of their rural communities, particularly in areas related to the environment.
Following the successful integration of CLUB 2/3 and Oxfam-Québec in 2005, the national office in La Paz, Bolivia, resumed its mission as the regional office for Peru, Paraguay, Brazil and Bolivia.
