History of Oxfam-Québec in the country:

CLUB 2/3 has been working in Peru since 1981.

Since then, CLUB 2/3 has supported more than 250 cooperation projects across the country, on the coast, in the Andes and in the Peruvian jungle.

CLUB 2/3’s activities in Peru are focused on access to clean water and basic education. CLUB 2/3 has also provided support in other areas including technical and professional training for youth, improving living conditions for street youth and developing collective entrepreneurship, particularly the cooperative model.

Following the successful integration of CLUB 2/3 and Oxfam-Québec in 2005, the national office in La Paz, Bolivia, resumed its mission as the regional office for Peru, Paraguay, Brazil and Bolivia.

Today, CLUB 2/3 focuses its activities in the regions of Ayacucho and Supe Barranca (north of Lima) and in three inner-city neighbourhoods in Lima, the country’s capital.
