After two exploratory missions in 1990, the following year, Oxfam-Québec opened a regional office in Hanoi to oversee its activities in Vietnam and Cambodia.
Oxfam-Québec’s projects in Vietnam are mainly focused on the support of ethnic minorities, this portion of the population being generally among the most impoverished in the country.
Currently, another top priority is improving living conditions for women.
