Emergencies

When conflict or disaster strikes in one of our partner countries, Oxfam-Québec saves lives by delivering prompt humanitarian assistance. We also work with communities to reduce their vulnerability for future crises. In supporting our partners, we develop local capacities to provide aid and to protect the rights of the civilian population, and women in particular, through programs of emergency response, post-conflict intervention, and support for reconstruction.
