Capacity building of young schoolgirls regarding health
This project focuses on helping schoolgirls become more autonomous by strengthening their capacities in the private sphere. The expertise developed by the Association d’appui et d’éveil Pugsada (ADEP) shows that there is a significant lack of information on various matters involving family and domestic life, sexual and reproductive health, and societal rights and responsibilities.
Therefore, the project aims to develop the ability of young girls to take control of their own lives and encourage them to adopt preventive behaviour in order to reduce cases of unwanted pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV/AIDS, illegal abortions and violence directed against them.
