Marche 2/3 2009 : 300 Volunteers needed !!!
The 39th edition of the "marche" will take place on Friday May 15th 2009
"Marche 2/3" is thousands of young people (in 2008, we were more than 15 000!) that pacifically denounce the injustices of the world and demand a fairer sharing of our planet’s abundant resources.
These youth walk in the streets of Montreal to express their commitment toward international solidarity and make the population aware of the importance of the youth movement on this issue.
Our needs :
- Safety team: Greeting and guiding the participants;
- Animation team: Theatrics and stalls (make-up, interviews, signs, etc.) ;
- Able to basically communicate in French.
What will you need to be available for?
- One hour training;
- On the day of the event: availability from 7:30 AM to 3 PM
As a volunteer, you will have:
- A healthy snack and a festive lunch!
- A Marche 2/3 t-shirt, made of fair-trade and organic cotton!
- An inspiring day you won’t forget!
