Let your actions speak
"For me, it means doing little things in our everyday lives, things that when you add them all up will lead to a fairer and more ecological world. It means reducing our consumption, and choosing fair trade and bio products. It means keeping abreast of what's happening internationally, and taking the time to write to our MPs or business leaders so that they will take action. It means forgetting the toaster and buying a donkey as your next wedding gift, through the Oxfam Unwrapped gift program. It means wearing the white bracelet, the worldwide symbol for fighting poverty. And it means signing a petition or joining a demonstration. In other words, it means showing solidarity in our daily lives with people who are living in poverty. "
