This project was created to educate youth to the importance of water and the environment. In partnership with a local television station in Ramallah (Wattan TV), the Palestinian Hydrology Group (PHG) is producing a television show for children which addresses water and environmental problems.

Through songs, games and news clips, 10 youths share the stage with a host. Thanks to this project, children and their parents are being sensitized to the importance of protection, conservation and respect for water.

Project description:

Oxfam-Québec, in partnership with the ONE DROP Foundation, is conducting a project which unites water and agriculture in order to improve the living conditions of the people in the Valle region. The project aims to provide access to clean drinking water and thereby improve the health, food safety and revenues of small producers and help them better manage their irrigation systems.

The project includes an original and innovative component which uses art and education to raise collective awareness among targeted families and their communities, on topics including the conservation and rational use of water and natural ressources. A mobile caravan visits local towns and stages live performances in the streets, public spaces and schools of the rural and urban communities in Southern Honduras.
