Together, we believe in the transformative power of women, an essential pillar for building a future based on equality.
Women account for a large share of agricultural and food production, support their families through work that is often unseen, and launch economic initiatives that sustain entire villages. Yet they are the most vulnerable to violence, discrimination, and exclusion. When supported, their strength becomes a decisive factor: they feed communities, strengthen local economies, ease tensions, and pave the way for sustainable solutions.
A donation made to Oxfam-Québec today can enable a shea butter producer to care for her family, send her children to school, and help develop her village’s economy. Support for a local organization can amplify women’s voices where they are still fragile. Educating young girls about their rights can shape their entire future. These are small actions that, when multiplied, redefine the future.
Investing in them strengthens society as a whole.
A quiet movement that begins with a simple act of solidarity and, little by little, transforms the reality of families and entire communities.

Ghana
In northern Ghana, community spaces enable young people to access information on sexual and reproductive health and to challenge social norms. Led by other trained young people, these spaces foster open discussions and informed decision-making. These initiatives have reduced the number of unwanted pregnancies and enabled more young girls to continue their education. The involvement of parents and local leaders has strengthened the dialogue on young people’s rights.

Haiti
In southern Haiti, a six-year project to support coffee production has increased the incomes of rural families by 25%. In total, 18 km² of land were rehabilitated to support 2,740 smallholder farms, and more than 3.2 million seedlings were planted to enhance climate resilience. In addition, 1,200 coffee producers were trained in sustainable practices adapted to climate change.
Irak
In Iraq, three years of sustained support have helped strengthen the capacity of women-led organizations. Two of these organizations have improved their skills in governance and fundraising, securing nearly $2 million from other funding partners to continue initiatives promoting women’s rights and leadership.

Bolivia
In Bolivia, an ambitious seven-year project has empowered women by improving their access to information about their rights and their participation in local decision-making. More municipalities are now investing in economic initiatives for women. Small-scale local actions demonstrate that it is possible to bring about lasting change in social norms.
Lebanon
In Lebanon, following the Israeli attacks in September 2024, Oxfam-Québec and its partners mobilized to support the affected communities. Through a combination of cash assistance, hygiene kits, and repairs to water and sanitation systems, Oxfam-Québec helped families cover their immediate expenses, regain a sense of dignity, protect their health, and build their resilience to future shocks.

Democratic Republic of the Congo
In the DRC, the escalation of conflict in the eastern part of the country and the suspension of U.S. aid have exacerbated a crisis already marked by the displacement of 3.8 million people. Despite this context, Oxfam and its partners supported more than 400,000 people in 2025 with vital aid in the form of food, drinking water, sanitation, financial support, and hygiene supplies, but urgent needs remain considerable.

Monthly donations are deducted on the 1st or 15th of each month.
If you register by phone or with one of our representatives, you can choose to have your monthly donations charged to your credit card or withdrawn from your bank account on the 1st or 15th of each month.
If you register online, you can also choose between the 1st and 15th of each month.
When will I receive my tax receipt ?
Tax receipts are sent by e-mail or by mail in March 2026. By mail, it may take 5 to 7 business days to receive.

Can I choose which projects or countries my monthly donations will be used for ?
As you join our community of monthly donors, your contributions make it possible to bring help where it’s most urgently needed.
